Chiang Mai University, partner of the ETourism Program, and in particular CAMT had organized an Education Tourism Competition via Tablet with Primary Schools last 30th November 2012 called "Classroom Of the Future: COF". The event gathered 100 students, 50 researchers, and 20 teachers involved.
Erasmus Mundus Sustainable eTourism was partner with the project "Le Vitrailloscope” which received the PRODIJ award in the field of new technologies given by the city of Lyon during the European Heritage Days 2012.
The Erasmus Mundus Sustainable eTourism Program co-managed the “International Conference on Internationalization of Higher Education: North-South Perspectives" held in Hanoi July 21, 2012.
This workshop aims to promote knowledge exchanges, discussion, and dialogues on how to manage e-tourism in more innovate, effective, and productive way among the Sustainable e-Tourism program partner universities.
Local coordinator of Chiang Mai University visited local coordinator of Joseph Fourier University in Grenoble. Post Doc students from ULL were also present to this meeting.
The inauguration of the international Erasmus Mundus Sustainable e-tourism programme was held on December 9th at the "Grand Amphithéatre" of University of Lyon 2. Presidents and Vice Presidents of partner universities and personalities of the Rhone-Alpes region were attending this meeting.
The project coordinators met in Hanoi in Feb 2011 for the Kick-off of the project to start the selection process and to finalise the activities' schedule.
